Become a GLODERM Member!

Your participation as a GLODERM Member will help achieve our mission of Skin Health for Everyone, Everywhere. All membership donations will go directly toward enabling our initiatives to invest in dermatology change-makers in medically underserved areas. With your contribution, we can continue to expand our mentorship and leadership opportunities to a growing community of changemakers, who will go on to ​​create a lasting public health impact in their community. If you are currently residing or working in a Low- or Middle-Income Country, your membership dues will be waived.

Who is eligible to become a GLODERM Member?

Membership application is open to any dermatologist, dermatology trainee, or primary care provider/qualified health worker with a special focus on dermatology as listed in the specific categories below. Membership is granted after completion and receipt of a membership application and annual dues as applicable. 

Membership Categories

The categories of membership are as follows:

  • =Voting Member
  • =Trainee Member
  • =Active Member

Annual Dues Requirements

The amount required for annual dues for Voting Members shall be $25 each year unless changed by a majority vote of the voting members at an annual meeting. Continued voting membership is contingent upon being up-to-date on membership dues. Voting members or potential voting members for whom the annual dues are burdensome may request the annual dues to be waived.  Trainee Members and Active Members are not required to pay annual dues.

When you submit your application for membership, you are confirming that you meet the eligibility criteria for the type of membership you are applying for. However, please be aware that if the GLODERM Steering Committee reviews your application and determines that you are not eligible, your membership may be revoked.

Who is eligible to become a Voting Member?

A dermatologist, or primary care provider/qualified healthcare worker with a special focus in dermatology, licensed to practise medicine in their home country.

Rights of a Voting Member

  1. Eligible to vote
  2. Receipt of e-newsletter
  3. Invitation to annual meetings and social events
  4. Eligible to apply for participation on committees

Responsibilities of a Voting Member

  1. Payment of annual dues
  2. Participation in annual meetings
  3. Engagement on matters requiring a vote of membership
Who is eligible to become a Trainee Member?

A dermatology resident, primary care resident, or student with a special interest in dermatology.

  2. Invitation to annual meetings and social events
  3. Eligible to apply for participation on committees
    Who is eligible to become a Active Member?

    A researcher, member of a sponsoring organisation, and member of a community organisation with a focus on skin health. Dermatologists who wish to support the mission of GLODERM, but do not wish to obtain voting membership, can join as active members.
